Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is an American actor and producer. She has been recognized for her stellar roles in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano, and The Incredibles. She has won many awards for her performance and has even won an Oscar. The accomplished actress started her career as an actor on the stage with an array of Broadway as well as Off-Broadway productions. As a child, Helen Keller was her favourite character in a fifth grade show. After suffering from the mumps, she became deaf on one side the ear. But, it didn't stop her from pursuing her dream to pursue a career as an actress. When she was a teenager, she took classes in drama at college before moving into New York City from Pittsburgh to pursue her ambitions. She was introduced to Beth Henley in an elevator and they worked together on Broadway Crimes of the Heart, Hunter's first film. When she moved into Los Angeles, Hunter tried to find film roles. An supporting role was found for her in Swing Shift. She has since appeared in a number of films, TV series as well as movies throughout the span of a 30-year career.
