Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter was an American actress who became famous in the film Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The movie Piano won her several awards which included an Oscar. Actresses have an extensive history of working on Broadway, Off-Broadway and other projects. When she was a kid, Helen Keller was her favorite character in a 5th grade production. As a result of having mumps, she became deaf in one of the sides of her ears. However, this was not enough to stop her desire to become an actor. While in college, she studied drama, she moved in New York City with her plans with her sights set. She was introduced to Beth Henley in an elevator and the pair collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart which was Hunter's debut film. She relocated to Los Angeles and tried to get movie parts. For Swing Shift, she landed a role as a support. In the last three decades she's appeared in various TV series and movies. Holly Hunter was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star as well as the Women in Film Lucy Award.
